As is typically the case, the Federal League looks to be strong in 2024. Coming off a memorable run to the State Tournament in 2023, the Hoover Vikings return their entire starting lineup and will look to make a return trip to States, this time at NCR Country Club. The Jackson Polar Bears are in a good position to be Hoover’s closest challenger, also returning a good chunk of their district qualifying squad last season. Green will have an above average roster and will be looking to make a run to the District Tournament this season. GlenOak could be a much improved team and will probably turn some heads as they work through their league schedule. Lake looks to be in a bit of a rebuild but do have some young players coming up the pipeline to be competitive in the future. Perry looks to have some stability in their coaching staff and are headed in the right direction while Canton McKinley is looking to rebuild and gain more interest in the program.

Coach’s Comments- Looking to build off of last year with four varsity starters returning. Once again, we will be playing in some very good non-league tournaments throughout the state. Combine that with the always strong play our Federal League matches provide us, we hope that our team will be prepared when postseason play begins.
