Coach Comments- For the first time since the 2018 season, we enter the 2026 as a member of a league, joining the All American Conference. We return 6 letter winners from last year’s team, with all 6 getting ready for the second year of high school golf (4 freshmen, a junior, and a senior). We also have a few freshmen that are looking to push their teammates for Varsity playing time. We are hoping to get better each day and find ourselves challenging for a League Championship come late September and potentially get at least an individual out of the Sectional Tournament. Noah Ickes returns as our #1 golfer with a lot of tournament experience and a year of high school golf under his belt.

Coach Comments- We are returning a motivated and hard working group of Seniors this season. Last year, at our first CWC Tournament, we collectively shot a 406. By the season’s end, we were down in the 360s, which demonstrates the success and hard work of this group. Returning is last year’s MVP, Myles Wisniewski. He is known for his long drives, and looks to continue to put himself into a good position of the tee. The hardest working one in the bunch is Senior Brody Daniels. The growth of his game has been incredible, and it is because of his consistently hard work in his free time. He is committed toward getting better each day, and will pose a real challenge to be our Team MVP this season. Nolan, Tyler and Justin, all Seniors, who have continuously gotten better as they have played more. Each are hard workers who show true dedication toward getting better. It will be a very exciting group to watch as this season comes forward!

He is a 4 time Varsity golfer and has been one of our best golfers every year since his Freshman season. He has come close to making it to State the last two seasons and I strongly believe this will be the year he breaks through. Expect a lot of low rounds and tournament wins from him this year.

Coach Comments- After nearly qualifying Districts last season the fellas are eager make some noise this season. The squad returns four seniors. Our senior class will be the catalysts of the squad. (Sr.) Matthew Mileti will take over the reins. He gained valuable experience at the varsity level the last two seasons. Matthew qualified for sectionals and nearly advanced to state scoring a 76 at Windmill Lake. He’s a high level competitor. His short game is strong. (Sr.) Emmitt Naughton is primed for a strong campaign. His power will be on full display. The younger players are ready to compete and earn valuable varsity-time. Team Goals: Compete with the high level teams in the area, make noise in the CWC conference and make a deep run into the Division II tournament.

Coach Comments- We won the PAC – 7 Conference title for the first time in 30 years. We only lost one player due to graduation from last year’s squad. So we are planning to make another run. The team will be led by senior Nick Lytle and junior Elijah Cockrill. Lytle was first team All-PAC and first team All-Stark County last year. Cockrill was first team All-PAC and Honorable Mention All-Stark County. Kole Back, Jase Beall, Hudson Hoffman and Kyle Tapp will also help contribute to our success. This is going to be a fun team to watch. They have really worked hard the past few years and now we are seeing all of that pay off.

Last Year’s Results- Men’s varsity golf team had another very successful campaign in 2024. The team had ten (compared to 7 last) top three finishes throughout the season, including three championships, Kent Roosevelt, Cath Prep (Erie), and Gilmour invitational. 3rd at Red Tail, WJ, Jackson, Green Invitational, US Invitational, New Albany and one runner-up at State sectionals. The team did not make it to the state championship this year, but was led individually by , Anthony Spain, who’s 74 left him one shot from qualifying for the state. Individual Personal bests were achieved this year by senior Steven Voinovich, with a 70 at Meadville CC and the Medalist performance of two under par 69 at Bishop Wattterson’s Invite at York CC as well as 2 day total 70-73 (143) from Spain Junior, tied his HS low 71 at Meadville from 73 from Ryan Czenszak at Red Tail tied his HS low,76 twice from Mossimo (Gilmour ,Jackson) one off of 2023 at Pine Hills75. from Logan Mackey 76 at St John’s and 77 York CC and Sectionals and Matthew Czenszak low at Gilmour 74. The Warriors look to be very strong next year led by the experience of Luke Voinovich, Czenszak brothers, Spain, Mossimo Russo.

Coach Comments- After qualifying for the Division II State Finals the fellas are eager to back it up with a strong campaign. Coach Comments- The expectations for the Pirates this season are the highest we have ever been. We return everyone from last year and at team that finished 2nd in the MVAC, tied for 3rd at sectionals and had one State qualifier and two district qualifiers. James Morgan is hands down one of the best golfers in the State across all divisions and will lead arguably the best boy’s team that Southeast has ever had going into the 2025 season. Junior Cole Bruno came on strong at the end of the season last year finishing 2nd in the MVAC and qualified out of sectionals with a 75 at Windmill. Alex Peelish, Ethan Shodd, and Shade Stevens are all capable or rounds in the high 30’s and low 40’s on a consistent basis. We can’t wait for the season to begin!

Coach Comments- The Bay Village squad is returning three high level players from last season. Our team goals are high. (Sr.) Ian Williams will be a force for the up-coming season. He is one of the elite players in the area. Ian’s been an integral player the past two seasons earning 1st GLC honors both seasons.

(Sr.) Jack Chalmers will join forces with Ian to be the catalysts of the squad. Jack earned 2nd team GLC honors last season. He’s played all summer and is ready to take the next step. Jack is a smart player that grinds out pars.

(Soph.) Travis Ropelewski will round-out the top three. He gained valuable experience at the varsity level last season, earning 2nd team GLC honors. Travis plays with power. He’s a high level competitor. His short game is improving.

All three are strong iron players. With improved consistency and decision making, they can all become elite players in the area. They are putting in the work and are ready to make some noise @ D-2.

We are looking forward to a competitive season. Our goal is to compete with the high level teams in the area, win the GLC Championship and make a run deep into the Division II tournament. It will be an exciting season for the Rockets.

Coach Comments- Another strong off season for our program. Our youth camps were very successful along with our squad playing a very competitive schedule. Once again, the overall outlook is on reaching our potential as a person & golfer. Qualifying for OHSAA states will and always be our direction. This season we are tasked with filling the slots left by multi-year captain Jack Myslenski and Thomas Marshall.

We have missed the state tournament by a few strokes the past two years, and this year our attention is on qualifying as a team. Players to watch are our two senior captains Jackson Pinney and Ethan Roberts. Both players have potential to medal at any tournament they play in, and expect to shoot state qualifying scores.

Coach Comments- After three straight winning seasons, the Valley Forge Golf Program saw the departure of five of its six student-athletes from a year ago due to graduation. With that being said, we are really excited about the new additions we are bringing on, and the youth movement that is coming along with that. Our hope and expectation is to get better one shot at a time this year, and use it as a learning year for many of the players in our program.

Last Year’s Results- Men’s varsity golf team had another very successful campaign in 2023
The team had seven top three finishes throughout the season, including two championships, crown conference and Strongsville invitational. 3rd Red Tail,WJ, Ashland, 2nd Green Invt and sectional. The team did not make it to the state championship this year, but was led individually by sophomore, Anthony Spain, who did qualify and finish 21st in the state.

The Warriors look to be very strong this year led by the experience of Voinovich, Czenszak, Spain, additionally, Logan Mackey, Mossimo Russo, Matthew Czenszak and Ben Yeager. These gentlemen will offer a great push to a very positive post season run.
