2024 Lake Erie Girls Golf Association Preview

The Rocky River Pirates will look to repeat as LEGGA champions in 2024 after a dominant finish last fall in the exclusive girls golf conference made up of teams from the Lorain County League and Great Lakes Conference. Senior Mia Ginnetti will be the frontrunner for Player of the Year honors and will be leading an experienced Pirate squad who will look to make a run toward the District Tournament this season. They will be chased by Keystone, Bay, and Westlake. The Wildcats have some young talent coming up, namely freshman Sophia Clarico, and will be a strong contender in Division 2 while the Rockets are a team that is going the right direction and will be much improved. Westlake continues to be strong but will have to reload after losing several players to graduation. North Olmsted will be looking to fill in the back end of their lineup and Columbia will have a lot to replace from last season.
