2025 Lake Erie Girls Golf Association Preview

Since 2016, the western lakeshore suburbs have controlled the Lake Erie Girls Golf Association. Rocky River has won seven league championships in that span, including the past two seasons, and Westlake took home the title the other two years. The Keystone Wildcats are looking to add their name to the list in 2025 after their best season in school history. Rocky River will be in their sights after losing superstar player Mia Ginnetti to graduation. The Pirates will return three seniors in Addie Crane, Rylie Quaiser, and Ava Mae DeMooy, all of whom could take a huge step forward with the experience they have gained over their careers. Keystone returns all significant pieces from their near run to the State Tournament. Sophomore Sophia Clarico has already established herself as the premier player in the conference and she is going to get some help from senior Alexis Askew along with juniors Caseabella Fye and Kennedy Accavallo. In Bay Village, it will be seniors Charlotte Fox and Annabel Sjoberg looking to propel the Rockets to the next level. Westlake will show some growth in 2025 with a good mixture of experience and young talent. Wellington still has a relatively new program and are making strides under coach James Feliciano. North Olmsted and Columbia have lost some key pieces over the last few years and will look to find the talent to replace those players.
