The Metro Athletic Conference could experience a huge shakeup in 2026. A conference that has been dominated by Cloverleaf for the last several years is about to get an infusion of competition for the Colts as Kent Roosevelt switches over from the Suburban League. Tallmadge will also make the jump from the Suburban League to the MAC. The individual championship looks like a fight between Cloverleaf senior Quinn Malarkey and Kent Roosevelt junior Brooke Beatty. Cloverleaf will also rely on senior MacLaine Bell and Kent senior Coco Golden is a very productive player. Streetsboro finished second in the conference in 2025 and will look to finish in the top of the league in 2026 behind seniors Arianna Jacobs and Aryana Puleo. Springfield will see some roster turnover and Norton appears to be heading in the right direction. Tallmadge is in the middle of a rebuild as they add roster depth while Field and Woodridge will provide competition for the Blue Devils.

Coach’s Comments- I’m excited for this season with a lot of returning players and a young team. We’re ready to improve on where we ended last year. Seniors Quinn Malarkey and Maclaine Bell are 2 players to keep an eye on this year. The pair will be a force to be reckoned with all season.
