Strongsville– With as good of a one-two punch as anyone, the Mustangs will have their voices heard
Walsh Jesuit– The Warriors have built up a very relevant squad this year with both youth and experience

District Contenders
Avon Lake– Every year, Avon Lake consistently brings a solid team and contends
Canfield– The Cardinals will have a lot of young, developing talent which will help them for several years
Lake– Although the Blue Streaks don’t have a superstar player, they have a lot of really good contributors
Medina– With a great amount of senior leadership, the Bees will be a balanced, competitive team
Rocky River– Chloe Holton and Mia Ginetti have both had strong summers and look to carry it to the fall
Solon– Serena Wu will be a standout player this fall and will look to lead the Comets to a successful season
St. Joseph Academy– The Jaguars are surrounding Gianna Reginelli with some young talent

Other Contenders
Avon– The Eagles have to overcome some big losses to graduation and will turn to their next wave

Dover– With plenty of past success to build on, Dover will look to impact the NE District again in 2023
GlenOak– The Golden Eagles have a foundation of talented players who are looking to take the next step
Green– Always a team to watch out for, Green’s young talent will need to step up and may do just that
Revere– The Minutemen will be young but are a team with a lot of upside
Streetsboro– The Rockets may be an under-the-radar contender this year

LaBrae– The Vikings will be competitive because they have four players who can post solid scores
Lake Catholic– The Cougars are good at developing talent and could be good now and in the future
Poland– The Bulldogs are another deep program who have enough talent to make an impact

In the final year of the Crown Conference, Walsh Jesuit is the heavy favorite to take home another conference title. The Warriors are returning all their scoring players from last year and are very high on incoming freshman Yumi Kohara. Walsh Jesuit was disappointed in their Sectional finish last year and will look to make that up in 2023. Lake Catholic and Beaumont are both in positions to be better than last year.
